Carpet Squares

Carpet squares are the ideal solution for a high traffic area where carpet replacement is never a convenient option. They are usually 1.5-2 feet square and form an interlocking covering for your floor. They can be removed individually and replaced, and are very durable.

Offices often prefer carpet squares because they are cheaper over the long haul than single piece carpeting. This is because an office has high traffic zones that wear much more quickly than the surrounding carpeting. When an office buys a single piece carpet the entire area must be replaced when the high traffic zone wears out. With carpet squares however you can simply replace individual squares as they wear out.

For applications like this it’s recommended that you have a stock of extra squares on hand. It can take months for the carpet square manufacturers to produce another set of squares in your color, and if you have a square wear out and want to replace it this can be an eternity to wait. On the other hand if you have extra squares waiting to be replaced there is no wait, just pull some from your stock and voila, good as new!
